CLASP: 

- W: 18.0 mm (ext.), 16.0 mm (int.) - The chamfered edges ensure the clasp blends seamlessly into the mesh at its narrowest point.

- H: 6.0 mm - The thin curved clasp closely follows the contour of the wrist, and gives the supple mesh proper structure. It was designed to be as flat as possible and to visually flow into the mesh. 

- L: 44.5 mm - Because of the above, clasp visually reads as part of one continuous loop. 

- Please note: For true Milanese mesh bracelets, all clasps must be slightly longer than those used on bracelets with removable links, because all of the adjustment is done at the clasp. (We did not want stiff faux-mesh removable links.) We factored in the size, width, and thickness into our overall design, from the very beginning. The chamfered clasp edges were inspired by vintage Blancpain Bathyscaphes, and other divers of that era, and they help the clasp to blend seamlessly with, and flow effortlessly into, the soft Milanese mesh panels. 

- On the wrist, our narrow and thin clasp wears as if it is part of one continuous, unbroken loop with the mesh and watch. The clasp itself was designed to sit perfectly balanced under the wrist for almost all wearers. This balanced fitment was a critical design feature from the beginning. Nothing looks, or feels, worse than a clasp that sits too far off-center, in either direction. 

- For reference only, our clasp length is almost exactly the same as the modern Rolex Sub adjustable clasp, but wears thinner and flatter. (The sizing was just a happy coincidence. We did not use any existing clasp as a benchmark; ours is a clean-sheet design.) 

- We are confident our AMB-001 bracelet will be the most comfortable mesh bracelet you will ever own.
